Tradevo is not an exchange and never takes custody. When you sign up, a wallet is created that only you control — secured by your email and passkey, exportable to any wallet app at any time.
When you allocate to a strategy, execution runs through a scoped signing authorization: a delegated session signer attached to your embedded wallet, governed by a Tradevo-defined policy. The token allowlist, per-subscription allocation cap and slippage limits are enforced by the signing provider's policy and by Tradevo's executor — not by the chain. It does not expire on its own. Cancelling stops the strategy immediately and Tradevo then removes its own signer (best-effort); you can export your wallet at any time for zero residual access.

Does Tradevo hold my money?＋
No. Funds stay in a wallet only you control. Strategies trade through a scoped signing authorization you grant when you allocate — a delegated session signer on your embedded wallet, governed by a Tradevo-defined policy that is enforced by the signing provider and Tradevo's executor, not by the chain. Cancelling stops execution immediately and Tradevo then removes its own signer — today that removal is something we perform (best-effort) rather than something you trigger on-chain without us, so if you want zero residual access, export your wallet. If Tradevo vanished tomorrow, your funds are still yours, on-chain, exportable to any wallet.
What does it cost?＋
Trading is commission-free and Tradevo sponsors network gas. The optional Pro plan ($14.99/mo) unlocks premium strategies and publishing. Standard DEX market costs (pool fees, slippage) apply to swaps, as they do everywhere on-chain.
How are strategies validated?＋
Validated strategies — the ones that show backtest results — must survive multi-year backtests, out-of-sample windows and walk-forward analysis before listing. A small set of experimental strategies is listed with a clear NOT BACKTESTED label and no performance history. Once tracked, a strategy's forward record is written daily against real prices from the date tracking began and is never edited. Community strategies must pass a historical replay window, a numeric evaluation, and human review before they can be published.
What can strategies trade?＋
Major assets on Base — BTC, ETH and other allowlisted tokens — swapped against USDC on audited decentralized exchanges. The token allowlist and your allocation cap are enforced by the signing policy and Tradevo's executor.
Who can use Tradevo?＋
Tradevo is currently available in the United States (excluding sanctioned jurisdictions). Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose your entire allocation — only invest what you can afford to lose.
